Lactation Services
Lactation Consultations provide comprehensive breastfeeding education counseling, support, clinical management and interventions that are provided to a person during their prenatal, perinatal or postnatal periods. It supports the initiation, maintenance and continuation of breastfeeding assisting with an individuals feeding challenges and feeding challenges with infants.
Prenatal - We explore important factors and benefits of breastfeeding as well as proper techniques and knowledgeable tips to plan and prepare for a memorable breastfeeding experience.
Postnatal - Addresses any concerns one may have with initiation, continuance and maintenance of breastfeeding. You are guiding what information and assistance you need.

I found Semaj in a simple search for lactation consultants in the Las Vegas Valley and I truly believe she was sent to us by divine intervention. My baby was having trouble latching and it was causing me immense pain and frustration, anyone who has been through this knows how urgent the need for help can be. Semaj was able to come to my home that same evening and meet with me. Her online booking was easy to navigate and efficient, something I truly appreciated in that chaotic moment. As soon as I met Semaj I was put at ease with her very comforting presence. She was kind and understanding and at no point made me feel anything but capable when I revealed to her that we had supplemented with formula. She made me feel calm and truly listened to the issues I had been having and gave me very efficient tips on latching my baby. She recognized that he may have ties and referred me to a specialist in my area. Throughout my visits with her she fully included my partner in the process and not only made me feel supported but also made him feel confident in how to appropriately support me during our breastfeeding journey. I cannot say enough good things about Semaj and fully intend on referring anyone I can to her. I don't think I would have continued breastfeeding past the first week if it wasn't for her intervention, she is truly the best.
